Study Visa Application Updates (From EduCanada Workshop)

If you are a prospective student in Canada, who attended the EduCanada Fair  last Saturday October 6 , 2018 maybe you met  the School Representatives from Canada.

A day after that  Fair , They Conduct an Agent Workshop , i just want to share what i learned during that workshop .

• SDS may now be processed online
• GIC may now be more than CAD10,000. Funds for dependents may be included
• For purposes of SDS application. IELTS may either be General Training or Academic
• The Visa Office prefers online application
• For SDS, no need to provide detailed documentation re funds
• Aside from Scotiabank, CIBC also now offers GIC

Canadian Immigration Consultancy  have new partner schools:

• Niagara College (ON)
• Mohawk College (ON)
• University Canada West (Vancouver) for Masters Degree)
• George Brown College (ON) - the only college literally located in Toronto

IELTS is now waived from Conestoga College

it is not mandatory to hire the services of Immigration Lawyer/Consultant in processing visa application to Canada.  All the information is available for free at http://cic.gc.ca.
